At the end of the game, you won't have a day and night cicle, but you will be able to choose the time you want to be in.

Chances are that all the tools are going to aimed towards 3D Studio Max in which case I may need to have a partner in crime with the apropiate software in order to get my mods into the game.

I'm already working on a few guns to get into the game... Hopefully.

It won't be quite that simple. The plugins in max do things and output a special xml file with the data for the cruncher. It is possible to go the other way though and save your model out in some open format like FBX and open it in 3DS Max, but that obviously requires a 3DS Max license and probably defeats the point of trying to use Blender.

So, if I read you right, DURING the game before the end mission(s) there IS a day and night cycle?
If so, goodie, cause in time this could be modded for us that enjoy a lot of free roam time in the game.
 
The day/night cycle has been discussed pretty thoroughly Uzi but at the risk of spoilers, I won't outline it again. If you'd like to know more, try a quick search or send me a PM, but lets just say it's a little more complicated than that.
 
Well since I have seen how poor the radio stations/track list of saints row 4 will be, I do hope there will be a custom radio station mod like in SRTT.
I never used it since SRTT had actually enough good tracks for the mixed tape but on first sight Sr4 has...two decent songs? (In Flames - Deliver Us/ Papa Roach - Still Swingin)
I am sure there are more but atm I am way to shocked that there is no metal radio station included. Can. not. take. a. look. at. that. list. O_O
 
Unless this turns into DLC, I'm hoping for some more gang wear from previous games, not just 3, but also from 2 and possibly 1. Ronin Jacket, for example, could be a fun thing to bring back, if not just for nostalgic reasons. Also, how about accessories like ties and such that just 'lay' over clothing we already have?

Same I also wish they would bring back fighting style XD that was always fun to mess around with

THIS. I want the Samedi fighting style ! Hell bring back all of them and invent new ones for the Luchadores, and the other gangs in Steelport !
