Saints Row 2 Juiced Patch

Does this mean i would have to choose between either my mods or the DLC? That really sucks if so...
Theres no other way around it unless people remake these mods to cater the DLC.

GOTR touches the memory limits as-is, its just no one ever noticed anything because the only way that it told you it was hitting memory limits was through internal logging.

It is *possible* (with a massive grain of salt) to increase these limits but we'd risk breaking peoples games in various ways or it would be too much trouble than its worth

I'm thinking of this as a fresh slate. DLC is something which should have been available for PC from the start, yet no one imagined it would ever happen. So over the years, we all made use of the empty space reserved for DLC to make our own mods, including IdolNinja with the GotR mod collection. Now with the DLC filling the void, I would guess mods may be limited to changes to existing content, rather than adding content (like more clothing, etc.). The trade off is that we now have a complete game to work with.

It will take time to adjust. Existing mods will need to be rebuilt/adapted to accommodate the DLC, and there may be new challenges for future mods. We'll just have to wait and see what those challenges are. Things should hopefully level out again eventually.

The game doesn't have any reserved space for DLCs, within the Xbox title updates/PS patches they've either made new memory pools for whatever they wanted to store or expanded on the original pool
Ah, okay. I always thought that because of what I assumed to be placeholder DLC meshes in the base game, like for Tera and the Unkut clothing items.

Well that sucks if you cantcombine DLC and Gotr item with it.. iwas thinking to combine feathery hair with choker for my goth boss that would sick.. well i guess we just need to wait more progress i hope both can be used not being separated.

Like I said; If things can't be added, I'd imagine they can be changed/swapped.
