Are you sure you don't have modded patch files that still contain mods that use that asm? Try verifying integrity on Steam to get everything back to vanilla.
 
Hi, im having trouble getting this mod and the porno and murder mod to work. I read through this entire thread, and tried the different ways to get it working but im new to SR3 modding and so im still having trouble. I moved all of the P and M mod files in the " Your_mods_here" folder to compile them together into a vpp pc file but it didnt work. This mod works fine but i still get censors and P&M doesnt work. I then tried the ASM updater method but to avail. To be honest im confused i even did tried these methods correctly. Could someone please help a newbie out real quick?

PS- Im using V3 of P & M mod if that has anything to do with the conflict.
 
If it's only the censor that bugs then you only have to place customization_items.xtbl in your root (the censor bars go through that) and put further all P&M files in the "Your mods here" folder, build the VPP_PC, and in case the ASM_PC isn't updated correctly, update it manually. I tried to merge them and it works perfectly here.

About that...what if I already have a customization_items.xbtl from the the gentlemen of steel port mod? How would I be able to combine the two xbtl files? Or do I have to choose one or the other?
 
Winmerge is what you're looking for. With that you open the 2 files and merge them together into one file.

Oh okay, and just curious, if there is a conflict...what happens? Do I get to choose what overrides what or is it just automatic. I'm pretty much tryin to get gentlemen of steel port, porno & murder, and this mod to get to work together.

I can't load my previous saves with it enabled, and when I try to start a new game I'm left out in a character customization panel without a character, which is sort of unfortunate, right? Hm. But that didn't stop me, I carried on, but then my character shows up black as my pupils, and no surgeon in the game (Image As Designed) could "Michael Jackson" me :(

Tried the fix Miku Hatsune (love her btw) provided, but it didn't do me any justice, still having issues. Either I can't access the game at all, or I'm unable to load any saves.

I feel like such a bag of rotten potatos when I whine about bugs, but this is more likely to be something with my computer, or my brain.

Hmm, maybe I should wait a bit then, before installing it. :)
