SR4 Hairstyles for SR3

Hello.

Could someone please explain, in detail, hot to use the ASM Updater tool to make this mod work with another one that uses a customize_item.asm_pc file? Particularily the shiny clothes mod (https://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/threads/shiny-clothes-for-the-main-character.588/).

I've read the ASM tool instructions that say you just drop the ASM_Updater file in your root folder and then just run the bat; however, I cannot understand how that can make both mods work together, because I can't place both customize_item.asm_pc in the same root folder prior to running the bat (because, since they're named the same, one will overwritte the other, obviously).

I'm missing something, did I understand something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Move all the .str2_pc files from both mods to the root folder and run the bat "Update_ASM_Files - after REMOVAL of a mod file"

you only need one ASM
 
Yeah it applies the changes needed for the .str2_pc files to work to whichever customize_item.asm is in the folder with them.
