[SR2] PC DLC

so like, i had to completely remove all of my mods and whatnot to get this to work. would mods have to be remade in order for them to work with this? because ill kinda miss my graphical stuff

In short. Gotr. And more or less any mods that use gotr as a base. Some can be remade easily for vanilla. Others may take awhile. Etc etc.

so i should pretty much wait a while longer. if i can atleast get the gameplay related stuff i had back, that'll be enough. its just that without GoTR, i have no idea how to mod this game
 
Please know the work you have done to bring this about is amazing, and I for one very much appreciate it. I just really hope someone makes an update/mod that allows us to us GOTR as well as this, because GOTR has some additions I really want to keep.

That it is why it has been said that people should take a look into GOTR files and mod in the features they want into their own games because it will be almost impossible to keep every feature as is and have it be compatible with the DLC.
 
For those who wants to play SR2 with DLC and GOTR, is mostly impossible. The reason is, limitations.. GOTR by default reaches those limitations compared to DLC, adding those 2 things the game is just unstable. If you guys like GOTR's mechanics, characters, weapons, etc.. i might try help you guys to port it to vanilla so you can have that from GOTR to Vanilla SR2 with DLC, but use both things is just not possible for now. Kobraworks already tryed to make a "clean" version of GOTR a while back for Juiced Patch, but it just didnt work.

Dont want to ruin everyone's happiness, but you guys need to choose one, either DLC or GOTR.

DLCs required Juiced anyway, and with Juiced you can mod just by dragging files to the Mods folder in the root directory. It makes the whole process way easier and would def recommend it over rebuilding a GOTR patch
