In coop, the host plays as Gat and the client who joins up plays as Kinzie. In single player you can switch freely between the two characters.
 
I will take this game the day it will be offered for free on steam. And I will play as Kinzie.

or they should do like gta v switching characters buuuuuut the thing i would like the most will be having a zombie cheat code or even having cheat codes in the game

I heard you can switch between Gat and Kinzie in a Ultor office, not sure if that's true.
