Intensive Hardcore Mod (now with "pastgangs")

Fixed.

More button mashing for the win ! In order to make it easier open up tweak_table.xtbl and search for HD_warden_meter_total_size table and change it's value to 500 or less.

Open up tweak_table.xtbl and edit the following tables:Golden_CID_burst_chance->change it to something greater than 0.75 , Golden_CID_burst_duration_sec also needs a greater value too.

Thanks! Will give it a go

Update: While the mod works fine if nothing is adjusted from your original files, if the HD_warden_meter_total_size table was adjusted to anything else then the game would not load past the loading screens (inauguration station load error). I tried leaving that at the 1k you had set it to and tried adjusting the value which each correct input filled the bar, the decay rate, the loss for an incorrect input, etc. but none of the changes would work where the game will load past the loading screens.

I didn't have enough time last night and am not at home now, but two thoughts have occurred
1) Would simply deleting the HD_warden_meter tables work while leaving the other tables in place? While I'd rather not have the mechanic at all in the game, the default is definitely preferred
2) Does autosave being enabled have any impact on the initial loading with this mod?

Notoriety changes:
-Level 2:You encounter weak superpowered past gang members
-Level 3:You encounter strong superpowered past gang members
-Level 4:You encounter a very strong superpowered alien specialist, sort of a miniboss which will turn your world upside down (you can distinguish him from the other aliens by his blueish accesories )
-enhanced player ragdoll damage
-less rewards from killing Golden CID
-harder "genkispam" survival instances (going to modify all the survival instances soon)

Question, how will this work in co-op? If I play a game co-op with this patch with someone who doesn't have this patch, will the enemies just be tougher for me, or will my co-op player also have tougher enemies? Or does that all depend on who is hosting the game?

I don't know but the most recommended thing is that both the host and client should have the same mods to avoid game crashes.

How about save data? Do you have to start a new game or should it work with existing save data?

So any editing of your files (for me at least) makes the mod not work and the program to stop working. I can even edit a value, save the file, and re-edit the value back to your default and the program will still stop responding. Any ideas? Here's the most info I can find on the error I'm receiving. [edit: this happens with both v1.2 and v1.3]

You have to update the game to the latest patch.

My last update was this morning where they fixed the weapons disappearing and I'm auto-updating so it should have the latest patch. Unless, are there different patches than what is put on Steam?

edit: verified the cache files and no change either

I gotta admit that I experienced this problem a few days ago before making this mod and every-time I tried to modify an xtbl file the game was simply crashing even from the most insignifiant change of value from one of the tables. After I started to download some of the others people's mods from this website the game stopped crashing but if I made the slightest adjustment then it would crash.I decided to download and install Notepad++ and then get some XML tools for Notepad++ and then it all stopped. So your best bet is to get a decent text editor for editing those files.
