Saints Row 2 Juiced Patch

You can change resolutions in the game with Juiced yeah I made it so the game uses supported resolutions instead of the hardcoded list it had, there's no overlap with GOTR and Juiced
Yeah, it's looks freaking beautiful now, thanks!

I'll also take you to your word and update to the latest version of Juiced.

Does this require a fresh start though? I've only done the first mission so it's not a big deal if i lose some progress.

Juiced does not modify the contents of the original save files so no you don't need to start fresh

Hello,

I'm a returning player after a long hiatus. I'm trying to catch up with everything so a couple of questions:

• Does Juiced take care of all the vanilla game's issues I used to fix with multiple tools? (Slowing the CPU down, compatibility issues, Minimaul's tools, etc.) In other words, is it enough to play an as vanilla as possible SR2? (I'm planning on reinstalling GotR on a later replay.)

• What's the suggested version, Steam or GOG? I got both so it's not a problem.

Thank you in advance.

yes, Juiced Patch fixes many if not most or even every issue (genuinely not to sound egotistical) people have had with the PC Port.

there is no preferred version because we auto patch the steam version to have less crashes like the gog version. If the auto patch fails you may have to run that manually though, you'll know if it fails if you still crash often.

Thank you for your answer (and the patch) I'll go with GOG and give it a spin.

Played through the whole game DLC included for the first time in a decade and not a single crash thanks to the Juiced patch.

Wait, DLC? 😱 What did I miss in 5 years?

beware that if you play with a controller then GOG version will encounter menu selection error on the main menu screen and might not recognize the device. I own both version and would still prefer Steam for this reason.
If you want to play on controller but with the scheme similar to SR3 which is more modern, try RowInput

Thanks but I'm a KBAM player so GOG's fine 👍
