I love the golden theme of SR2, but a proper Saints purple theme is long overdue. Here's a simple mod to swap the background videos out.
INSTALL:
Merge the Saints Row 2 folder with your own found in steam > steamapps > common > Saints Row 2. (or just stick the videos into your SR2 videos folder and overwrite)
ADDITIONAL:
- Get a matching logo mod & change the menu music from this mod here: (I'm using a purple logo with Gen-X, in the examples below.)
Nova SPE
- To get the exact look as in the examples below but in game, you'll need my modified version of the Shinobi Fix and my own TOD skyboxes edit - as that's how these were recorded. I'll release that stuff in the near future!
EXAMPLES:

ISSUES:
- Not perfect quality. BIK files are annoying to convert to.
- On certain resolutions, the bottom of the menu has a small seam where the background shows through. I believe this is caused by Juiced patch? If so, it should probably be fixed in Juiced. If it isn't caused by that though, I'll re-edit the videos later to have a black fade at the bottom so that the seam isn't visible.
