Modding Music HeLP

Hey Saints Row modding community, I need some help with putting my own music in the radio stations. I followed a tutorial, but some of the music isn't playing, and the game keeps repeating a lot of the same tracks. I'd like it to flow better if possible. I'd love a detailed tutorial or a video if you have one. I really need some guidance!

Out of curiousity, did you follow the tutorial within this thread?

If not, it may help. It might still take a while to get through.

Respectfully I did all this and respectfully I honestly think that there are some things being missed and I think that a video tutorials needed cuz there's no way that the classic radio shows up I do what is needed and then when I go in back inside Saints Row nothing is being played through Klassic radio

And also I did the mus ambient I extracted and it only gave me two files from towav so there's something that's being missed here new install nothing's been touched I went directly to the audio stuff

I did the Mus Ezzy radio replacement MUS Ezzzy Stop Playing noting it playing straight quite

It sounds like xact3 didn't encode your music tracks properly.. The only thing that you can do is reencode the files.
This actually happens quite a lot. Xact is very finicky. All you can do is keep trying.

If you are working with the PC version of the game you need to use xactextract. Towav seems to be for the Xbox version of the game.

From the tutorial:
The xactxtract file is for those people who are working with the PC audio banks which we are.
For people using Xbox audio banks there is a program in the SR2SOUNDTOOLS.7z file called towav
that works for you.

After using xactextract if you are missing files try another extractor like unxwb. The naming convention will be different but you can search for the correct file and rename it using the xactxtract naming scheme.

If I am not explaining something very well just let me know and I'll try to clarify.

Okay is there a possibility you can send me the link directly to the PC version of that program cuz I'm looking all over here and to be honest I'm new to this website so looking for links Etc it's kind of hard on the eyes

Okay so how am I renaming them back into the correct file for the Khryme radio station do I just put mu Khryme or do I basically replace the save files name of what each of the info artists and genres is

Your files should have a name like MUS KRHYME_001.wav (or something similar) If they already look like that then you don't have to change them. You can just import them into Xact
