SR2 Saints Row 2 Mega Patch isn't coming... but

I'm wondering, how did they make it work? Decode of Xenia DLC files, or what? Anyway, about official source files - did anybody try to contact Deep Shit officially? I mean, to at least give all of us, some direct message that SR2PC patch project is closed.
 
Even though I understand the possessive corpo side of things, I don't understand why Volition didn't just bite the bullet and either release or hell, sell the outdated proprietary tools for SR2.

Would have honestly been a better "last hurrah" for Volition than just having the reboot left as their most recent memory.

But for all I know that stuff is lost on ancient servers or something and went the way of Vulcan Fury.

Lights of hope when Original creator saying want to reboot sr once again Vanish.. when he talks about a pricetag for gta6 should be $100,The game sets in 70s era but its on "VR" *sigh... Yet they never learn.

Because Deep Silver owns it all. They don't get a say in what gets released or sold with the publisher's approval.

An ex-Volition developer that only worked on SR1 and currently owns a VR studio said he'd love to make a prequel for SR1 because that was the plans for SR2 when he left the studio. He didn't say he wants it to be a VR game, that was made up. Source.

Screw deep silver, They screwed up the reboot and they fuckiing stole the saints row 2 pc patch from us, All i wanted is saints row 2's dlcs on PC.
