So I've been looking online as well as on this forum and one bug that's not really been addressed with any success is the game randomly soft-locking the player upon getting near the end of Gat's Nightmare.
I've tried different methods to see if I can fix it like verifying the game's files, restarting SR4, but nothing is working so far.

Any idea on how I'm going to get past this annoyance?
 
Latest steam build with the "Pre-Mod-Test" opt-in to try to reduce crashing.

As for mods (names from the zip files):
CJK's SRIV Nude - Reduced Shading
Disable the anti-superpowers grenade MOD V2
Fan of Saints' Clothes Fixes + Extended Wardrobe
More bounce for the SuperHero outfits
New Homies-9-3-1
no_cache_death_fee

If any of those mods makes the game less stable, then I found the culprit to my frustration. :l
 
try to remove those mods, and install one by one while you test it to see if the bug gets solved or still
