Random Game Crashes

Nah that is definitely not the issue my 7970 can easily handle this game at low loads. Like I said it didnt happen on other games I'm suspecting its Raptr as its not happening anymore but if it does again I will update this thread.

I have a 6950, no shlub either, but it simply shouldn't need to run the fan at 100% while I'm playing - the only games it needs to do that for is Crysis 2 and 3. I have Raptr installed but it is not running while I play.

I was looking up the error codes I get in Event Viewer and apparently they have to do with incorrect file permissions for the program. Running the program as an administrator prevents it from having file access issues, but it's not a solution. Could you see if your game crashes if you're running it with administrator rights?

Well it hasnt just gone off anymore so it was raptr however had this crash today mid mission (the one where you get the batterys)

Like I said this is a completely different crash I actually got the windows error message this time which led to the event. Also all my games run with admin rights by default..

That's the exception code I've been getting. I'm using the newest (beta) AMD drivers available for my card.

Volition has stated that the Fault offset is of more use than the exception code, so if you can, please post that.

I noticed that most, perhaps 80% of my crashes, are unreported in Event Viewer. I've perhaps crashed 24-28 times now, and 8 of those were critical video card failures requiring a reboot (likely a hardware flaw of my card being brought to the surface, this isn't the first I've seen of these). I crash a lot more often in multiplayer than I do in singleplayer, although in singleplayer I tend to alt-tab more frequently which I am convinced helps with stability.

I'm also getting errors like these before the crash in some cases, may be unrelated:
Code:
.NET Runtime version 4.0.30319.18051 - There was a failure initializing profiling API attach infrastructure. This process will not allow a profiler to attach. HRESULT: 0x80004005. Process ID (decimal): 5796. Message ID: [0x2509].

I also found this, but I don't know if I crashed when the error was logged.

we aregetting the samebug but myfans going no more than 62% so thats no the cause (for me at least) tried with new and old drivers. Although it does only happen after playing for around 2 hours+.

I just went through the whole thing without a single crash, every 5 minutes or so I paused the game and alt tabbed. If I try to go through without doing it, it will spontaneously hang during some part of the mission.
