It's time for the Saints Row IV version of everyone's favorite SRTT thread.

Today I attempted to add the silly Pleasantville walk to Sandbox+ by packing the mission animation files into preload_anim.vpp_pc. The results were decidedly not what I was expecting. What ended up happening was that my player character and all NPCs immediately started revolving around and upside down like some kind of demented gyroscope. It was probably one of the weirdest thing I have ever seen.

I have uploaded the archive if anyone wants to see it in action. Back up your original, then put this one in
    ..\Steam\steamapps\common\Saints Row IV\packfiles\pc\cache\

I hope some intrepid forumer makes a video of this in action so I can add it to the post. :)
  2. Today I learned...
Renaming textures = stick with the .cpeg & .gpeg files.

If you touch the .tga/.DDS files, you get a Korean horror film:

  4. What was that place at the end of the video with the spinning rainbow and fireworks? I've put like 90 hours into the game and don't recall ever seeing that place.
  5. Just go to let's pretend, see the "employee only" door? Shoot it!

  6. It definitely needs "You Spin Me Right Now" song in the background. :p

That mod can do some freakin hilarious things to the game to say the least :V
Oh yeah the video has insanely minute spoilers for anyone that hasn't gotten through the first like half an hour of the game.
  8. That's funny~

Currently modding texture mainly, leading to result.
