Made 2 Measure: Seabound's Clothing Patch

Thanks for the kind words, Saints4Ever! Every now and then I need a reminder why I go through the trouble to make these mods, and this was one of those moments. Thank you!

I'm currently working on M2M x DLC compatibility, and I'm reminded of just how much work went into this mod the first time around. SRTT might not happen by my hand, but my SR2 customization guides are freely available, and I'm sure a lot of what's discussed there carries over to SRTT.

I don't remember there being an issue with the collar for "women's tied buttoned shirt". But "npc_stripper_female" wears it, and the collar is indeed missing. It can't be restored to the NPC because the mesh was pre-baked that way. (Example)

All of this comes down to the VID system. Coats would often hide Gloves and Wristwear (either by their VIDs or the Slots themselves). The "women's tied buttoned shirt" you mention might have been missing the VID for the collar.
Damn you really work hard man dont try overdoit.. hope your m2m X dlc can be completed

My absolute pleasure SeaboundSaint absolutely love this mod so praise very well deserved.
Used to have SR2 on console back in the day......so its great being able to play it again on PC with all the amazing enhancements can't wait to see more of your super creative very clever work :D

I don't fully know what to expect yet in terms of what can be done. But as it stands, these are my priorities:
  1. VID fixes and improvements to existing items. (This shouldn't affect memory much, if at all.)
  2. M2M's Modifier items.
  3. Items which GotR restored (if there's any room left).
  4. M2M's additional items (if there's any room left).
It's good for me to know which items people want specifically though, so thanks for the recommendations.

I plan to make some room by removing the duplicate Unkut DLC t-shirts. Some of the duplicates have black or white versions of their design textures, but others are identical, and thus redundant. Removing even one t-shirt would save a nice bit of space due to all it's meshes for different "tucked" heights and "flat" Wear Options being removed. However, removing items does mean a new save will be needed upon installing the mod.

Some of the issues from the current M2M will likely remain. But hopefully the list of issues will be shorter.

Before I start on that though, I'm finishing up a small Cutscene Patch update, which will fix issues with the last major update, and will include improvements for DLC cutscenes.
The thing that really stood out for me was the all different clothes available for my female character compared to SR3.

Love this mod -- just recently discovered it!! I do have a question though... would it be possible to adjust how Gat's neck tattoo align for certain body slider values? I find that I could only see the whole tattoo if I set the body shape to a negative value (which makes my character look hideous lol).

Hi,
First of all, thank you for all the work on this mod. I'm new to PC modding for Saints Row 2. I only used to play the game on Xbox 360 back in the day, and recently started playing on PC with Juiced Patch.
I tried Gentlemen of the Row once but only briefly. I wanted to ask: does Made 2 Measure include most of the extra clothing that GoTR adds (beta clothes and NPC outfits like Shaundi, Johnny Gat, Mr. Sunshine, etc.), or is your mod more focused on improving the customization system itself?
Thanks in advance!

Hi, to my knowledge Made To Measure requires GOTR, so these outfits are still there when installed properly.

I think the mesh would need adjusting in Blender. It's possible to convert SR2's ".cmesh" files to .obj for external use, but it's not currently possible to reconvert them back to .cmesh. There are people working on this though, so it might be easier to accomplish in the future.

Btw; Your Gat character looks spot on! I thought it was his actual model!

For the most part, yes. Tbh, there might be a couple of items here and there that were changed slightly, but I don't remember off the top of my head. Only minor things though, like removing Sunshine's Ear Gore which wasn't visible, or Jyunichi's Arm Tattoo, as it's already available with a different mesh. There's nothing obvious missing that was also in GotR.

As for Outfits, I made a point of keeping those, but improving upon them. For example, one of the two Tomb Raider outfits is now inspired by the 2013 reboot.

Aww no current workaround for this? :( Dang! Appreciate the response though.

And thanks! Gat’s been my fav character since discovering SR2 back in ‘11 lol

Hi, thanks for the reply.
So if I understand correctly, to have all the extra NPC/beta clothing (Shaundi, Gat, Mr. Sunshine, etc.) I should install Gentlemen of the Row first, and then install Made 2 Measure on top of it?
Will the outfits still work properly that way with the latest Juiced Patch?
Thanks!

Thank you for the detailed reply!
I’m only using Juiced Patch (no Gentlemen of the Row) because I prefer a lighter setup. I tried installing your mod but unfortunately it didn’t work. After trying several times, I noticed in the first post that it’s currently incompatible with the Kobraworks DLC port, which I have installed.
I’ve read your post multiple times because I really like all the extra customization options your mod adds. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to see what your mod does in-game yet because of the DLC incompatibility.
That’s why I wanted to ask: if I only have Juiced Patch, will Made 2 Measure still include most of the extra beta/NPC clothing (Shaundi, Johnny Gat, Mr. Sunshine, etc.)?
Also, do you plan to make it compatible with the DLC in the future?
Thanks again for your time!
