Gentlemen of the Row

Not sure why it is crashing in this particular instance but if I remember correctly both players must have all the same mods. So if you two have any different mods that could be your issue.
You right about that if one of your friend missing one file of the mods the game later start crashed more faster.. i try this back then for experiment and yep you need to use the same mod and not missing a bit mod from the files.. and also important thing must SAME MODS.

I'm replaying SR 2 and want to try some optional mods along with GOTR, which I know you can do by placing them in the 'optional mod stuff' folder, but there's five optional mods I'm interested in, so is it possible to use more than one optional mod at a time? Like if two different mods both use a customization_items.xtbl file, is it possible to still use both mods or can you only use one? And if you can use both how do you install both without overwriting one over the other? Thanks in advance for anyone who can provide answers.

Not sure if I'm misunderstanding, but that doesn't sound right.

To install mods through GotR, you place modded files in the "1-MODDERS_-_PUT_YOUR_OWN_PERSONAL_MODS_HERE" folder, before rebuilding your "patch.vpp_pc" via the .bat file.

If you're following the Juiced installation instructions for GotR, you're copying modded files from the "optional_mods" folder.

No. One version of the file would override the other of the same name.

The only way to get them both working would be to get your hands dirty and use WinMerge to merge parts of the two files into one file. But you'd have to know what you're doing (depending on the complexity of the file), or else it might just crash the game. There are many guides on this forum if you're interested in learning.

Yeah, just realized my mistake with that, sorry for the confusion. And thanks also for the answer about using multiple mods; I didn't think it would be possible without some extra work, but just wanted to check. Guess it just gives me extra reasons to replay the game several more times 😉
