Saints Row IV Did Volition do the SteamOS port itself?

There's precious little information about the port on the Steam store page, and I don't have any Linux machines around right now to run the Steam client on.

The Linux ports were not done by Volition.

They would appear to be ports done by http://www.vpltd.com/ like many recent SteamOS ports.

I've downloaded them and am looking into the changes that have been made - they bundle some changed files - looks like changes to the strings and to the settings pages.

Edit: Sadly, my linux machine won't actually run these ports - I don't have a recent enough graphics card in it :(

It's VP, so not actually a port but a wrapper like WINE. That said, on my Nvidia it runs fairly well - probably the best I've seen of a VP game. I get minor stutters when it streams in new areas, not sure if that's there on the Windows one but is a common sign of a D3D -> OGL layer (CSGO does the same).

That said, it's been stable and great framerates, works with Steam controller too, much better job than VP did with Witcher 2.
