Yeah. Ok. Those 6 pin connectors need to be connected to your PSU for your video card to work properly. Have you always left them unplugged? That's probably why you're experiencing these weird errors.
No, I don't even tamper with the inside of my computer. So, what do you or anyone else who reads this recomend on getting an upgrade of my graphics card, I'm no computer geek, but I'm sure there's got to be like a certain product that is allowed to be fitted. Like for a RAM, you have versions like DDR2 or 3.
 
there are certain things you have to worry about before any upgrade.
what sort of power supply unit do you have? how much power deliver? how old is your power supply unit?
what cpu do you have?
how much memory do you have?
if you don't have any idea which components are inside you PC, you can download cpu-z or sisoft sandra, they may help you reporting any hardware of your PC
