I bought saints row 2 on steam and I am inable to get the game to go past the main menu at all. When launched there is no sound until the menu. Once there I can go into menus like settings and everything. The second I try to start the game instantly closes with no message on screen at all. I have tried all sorts of ideas. I have verified the files, I have reinstalled it, I have tried with having it run with Admin privaliges, I have tried changing settings in nvidia control panel, I have tried the Gentalmen Of The Row Mod. Im pulling my hair out my freind bought it and it works perfect for him so far right out the gate. Please help!!!!

are you using any mod besides GOTR? and do you start a new game or you start with a save one?
no just gotr and a new save
weird.. which version of windows, mac or linux are you using?
windows 11
now it launches but wont keep the window up for me to actually play it instantly minimizes will play the music and everything but cant have it full screen
Windows 11 have so many issues what i heard you might go back W10and see if the issues still happened or no(well not all user have this issues but people also recommended Just keep on W10 some games might have issues in W11)
