yeah, that's always a risk with fangames. Technically, they own the intellectual property and can do with it as they please. it'd be better to do something in the -spirit- of whatever series you'd like to make a fangame of and make something original instead. who knows, maybe you will have...

I don't play SR1, but this is amazing! It's crazy how much rare cars there are in the first 2 games especially, the Goliath has always been some sort of enigma. Being able to have doors is a great plus as well ✨ I wonder if the doors would come back if you drove through Rim Jobs tho?

Knowing the developers, it could be that it's directly rendering the 2d text into 3d space, rather than an actual texture file

The best advice I can give you is probably to never speak about it again so that when you do release it, people immediately have something to play. still risky, but 100% better than being C&D'd at the trailer stages wqhen the game is 70% there

That sounds more related to that mod specifically, just note which files the mod use, be prepared to delete that incase it doesn't work and try it yourself!~

A hunch is that it's related to the gearing those cars have, that those gears actually do something even though the game repeats shifting into last gear

hiya, kind of sounds like SuperUI issue. It sounds very likely that it just doesn't work with Re-Elected, but its settings are stored in vint_lib.lua. one of the settings set up an alternate code to do the hub menus. hope checking that helps

I am lazy, and cannot be bothered to properly learn Lua just for this mod. So, in this update you get an easy way to quickly select your favourite voice: Open sr3_city.lua and edit "STAG_AF" in the example to the ID you want, the quotations must be there. STAG_AF is a dangerous voice anyway...
