You start the game with an in depth character customizer, you can play as a male or female character, with an array of hairstyles and sliders for everything related to your characters anatomy, to the aggressiveness of your characters walking style and taunts. (Keep in mind creation options will be grounded in reality)
The year is 1998, and the city is Stilwater. (of course
Neon lights mirror upon the rainy streets, giving a cold lonely ethereal vibe throughout Sunnyvale, Southern Cross, and the Row. This place is dense with people ranging from wholesome and kind to-- lost souls.
Your view changes to your character getting of the metro. (In this case it's a female character) Before she steps of she grabbed an Ultor brand music player, called the "Beat Break". (Similar to the Walkman) Once she put her earphones on, the view changes to a crane shot of an abandoned church and Unkle's Lonely Soul plays over a man named Julius drinking and grieving over a picture of an old love.
Next thing you know you take control over Julius in the mid 70's. You then wake up to a nudge in your arm. you then smirk at your friend who's been like a brother in those hard times. He looked worried. Dialog options pop up on the screen. In this case you say: Ben what's wrong?
His voice was shaky: Angela.
Julius tried to keep his pain to himself, trying to be a cool and collective spirit of vengeance.
Who did it man? Ben replied the Carnales.
"Jules what the hell are you doin'?" He didn't answer all he did was grabbed his Vice 9 and the keys to the Bootlegger.
King grabbed him saying "Are you stupid?! You think that I don't want to curb stomp them too?!" "YOU NEVER LOVED HER LIKE I DID!"
There was nothing but silence and the echoes of two brothers coming at a crossroad with no intersections in sight. " You walk out hat door you're dropping your flags, ya here?"
BANG! A gunshot went of interrupting Julius's cold walk down memory lane.
"Give me all the cash you have on you... Please, I just need to eat.
"You ever eat led before mutha--" "Put the damn gun down Johnny!"
" Really boss? I'm starting to think your mugger has bigger balls then you."
"I said put the gun down now boy!"
Julius looked at you eye to eye, lost soul to lost soul.
"You get to leave this church alive girl, and I gotta say not many people have
this opportunity I'm giving you. Now go on before you scare Gat."
(Johnny gave Julius the finger.)
I'm sorry but I ain't leaving here without any money.
You resume the game and a control box pops up, once you finish reading it you have to fight Johnny Gat.
