Saints Row: The Third Weapons on the back

There is this flag for weapons, "always wear on back", which will let character carry the weapons on their back, but there are a few things that bugged me with it though:
1) Why does the that flag on the Decker sword not work on characters (except for when the character is in the Deckers team)?;
2) Why doesn't the flag work for the player character?
3) Also, if you set the player team to Deckers, all melee moves are replaced by the Decker Sword attack, except for that there is no sword at all then. Might I have some indepth explaination on these little things? Thank you in advance!

Writing up documentation on the weapons and melee tables is something I can help out with, so we'll get some more general info on that for reference.

Your specific problems are probably related to the fact that the flag was never used outside the Decker specialist weapon, and thus not tested for those things.
