Today in Gaming History

Since it's about video gaming I'll make a thread called "Today in gaming history".

On this day, 3D Realms releases their first game "Terminal Velocity" version 1.0, a flight action game using the popular "Apogee Shareware Model" for it's method of marketing and was also sold commercially in retail stores.

Do anyone here remember 3D Realms? I do back in the days of Duke Nukem and Doom.

I don't think I played TV, but I do remember having been shocked and thrilled when Duke changed from platformer to ego shooter.

Terminal Velocity is *awesome*.
I still have my CD copy

Minimaul are you serious? Wow, you have to be a video game collector if you own a copy of Terminal Velocity on CD I still own my game consoles from way back
