Hey! Guys! I just realized something when I completed SR3 again, that if you saved Shaundi and the last cutscene where Pierce asks you, if you're going back to bangin' in Stillwater, and you reply: "Not yet." and walks smiling away from the camera angle... Not yet... Ladies and gentlemen, not yet
So I figured, Saint's Row 4 is very likely to happen in Stillwater, or both! Oh, and a bit off-topic; are there any screenies or 'leaks' about SR4 yet? I know about the whole DLC thing, but any other news? Like a release date rumor or something? :)

Yes, SR4 is like SR:TT a "rushout" game. THQ tries to get money with SR4, because they are strapped for cash.

The publisher is strapped for cash, and it just keeps getting worse, most recently its shareholders launching a class action suit over the disaster of their U-Draw flop.

I dont think it takes place in stillwater, if you read of on the SR4 news, it was originally going to be an expansion called "The Domnimatrix" but the new THQ president decided to give them more time to make it into the fourth game which takes place instantly after SR3, and in my opinion they are going way overboard to the fact that its not even Saints Row anymore

EtD will be a part of the SR4 story, it won't be the COMPLETE STORY.
 
There is no way in hell that it will be in Stilwater considering that THQ is gasping its dying breath and that they cut a year off development to release SR4 early with the expansion (that was already in Steelport.) They will have to reuse the Steelport city. No question.

Just highly unlikely.

Hell, I could predict that Maero, the General, and the Akujis come back from the dead by Mr Sunshine's voodoo and open a ballet school. That has about the same chance of being in SR4 as it does of being in Stilwater instead of Steelport.

It could be possible, that when THQ is back on the feet(if SR4 brings enough money) they add new storypart's (which could include Stillwater) like in other games, such as Fallout.
