Sr2 bitmap tilesheet

Yea damn thats a trip then cuz I'm pretty sure I'm doin it right, I put tha peg n tha g peg in my gibbedtool folder drag n drop tha peg on tha tool edit tha png in paint.net just overlapping contact pictures n merging the layers down then drag n droppin the desc in the tool n building the ui_cell_homie.peg_pc n ui_cell_homies.g_peg_pc bacc into the patch it just doesnt seem to read my be reading. Any ideas what that could be?
The only issue I can think of is to do with image size. Are you resizing the texture? It's not recommended to do that with UI due to pixels being mapped out for each icon. Aside from that, textures can only usually be upscaled 1x or 2x anyway.

I haven't used Gibbed Tools. You could try using SR2PegTool.

Yea I didn't do anything to the size i don't think all I did was merge the new contact pictures over the old ones using paint.net. It just wont seem to read the pegs for some reason I even tried erasing the contact picture behind it before merging the new one down n it loaded em into my patch n mod folder in my juiced mods folder but it still shows the Gotr contact pictures.

Are you putting your files in the /mods folder?
By default this folder has lowest priority in loose.txt so GOTR will override it.
Make sure your mods are in their own folder then put it above GOTR in loose.txt.

I don't have a Gotr folder in there last time I loaded Gotr thru the patch builder so it would load sandbox+ (I didn't think to just build my own patch) since then I loaded it thru tha patch even the pegs.vpp but it still shows the Gotr ui_cel_homies n interface-backend.

Not if GotR is built in patch.vpp_pc.

Sandbox+ doesn't need to be built into patch.vpp_pc. It can be loaded loosely through Juiced, just as any other game file.

If you could share the .pegs you're having trouble with (you can message them to me if you prefer), I'll take a look.

Nah. It's best to keep patch.vpp_pc as Vanilla and just use Juiced's "mods" folder. Makes troubleshooting file conflicts easier. Here's a guide on installing GotR through the "mods" folder.

So, this is really strange... I installed the files you attached as they were, and you're right. They didn't change anything in-game.

I then checked that the .dds had been converted. It had.

The .pegs had obviously rebuilt, because I successfully extracted them to find your modified texture.

I rebuilt it myself, and it worked (see attached).

So I compared the hex code between my rebuilt pegs and your rebuilt pegs, and they're identical... I have no idea why yours didn't work, but mine did.

I would still recommend using SR2PegTool though, because I've never had issues with it (other than previously mentioned).

Perhaps the uncommon dimensions (512x768) of the texture might not be supported by the Gibbed tool? Just a guess...
