Saints Row 2: No Context Edition

This mod will turn SR2 into more of a simulator-style game by relying solely on Diversions to progress through the game, with the Campaign and Activities being disabled. Jailbreak will be the only mission you'll have to complete before being thrown straight into the open world with no contacts, no money, no home, and no vehicle. Revelation will also still be available to play.

All Diversions will reward you with realistic amounts of cash.

Since the Campaign is disabled, each Neighbourhood will now be Purchasable just like Stores and Cribs. Somewhere hidden in each neighbourhood will be a Purchase Marker. I'm hoping this can apply to Harrowgate, Mission Beach, and Athos Bay too (Even if the ownership effects can't be applied to the map)

Neighbourhoods will be realistically priced based on their state. Making some easier to purchase to get some money coming into your Safe.

All Cribs will be realistically priced based on the state of the Neighbourhood they reside. (And this includes GOTR Cribs)

All Stores will be realistically priced based on the state of the Neighbourhood they reside. Making some easier to purchase to get some money coming into your Safe. (This includes GOTR Stores)

You can no longer store Stolen Vehicles in your Garage, you must purchase them from a Vehicle Dealership (Assuming there's a way to flag the Vehicle as Stolen and not Owned)

Rim Jobs and Semi-Broken will refuse to customise Stolen Vehicles, you must purchase them from a Vehicle Dealership

Friendly Fire, and Brass Knuckles have their Weapons realistically priced.

Upon being arrested, your Weapon Wheel will be emptied, and Cops will raid your Weapon Cache so you'll have to purchase all your Weapons again.

The GOTR Homies and usual base game rewards (Health, Inf Sprint, Weapon Accuracy, etc) will be unlocked by completing Diversions that fit the reward type (Eg: Pierce - Kill 1000 Ronin Gang Members, Infinite Sprint - Travel so long on foot, etc)

If you commit a crime that (IRL) would land you in jail for a few years, you'll essentially reset, you'll spawn back at the docks (as though you've just escaped prison again), with no contacts, no money, no home, and no vehicles.

EDIT:
I guess instead of just being able to instantly purchase each Neighbourhood, the marker could instead start a Wave Survival Mission/Stronghold where you fight the Gang of that Neighbourhood. And after completing, you'll own that Neighbourhood.

The Neighbourhood containing the Gang's main Hideout could have a Standoff against the Gang Leaders, and after completing, you'll own that Neighbourhood and their personal Vehicles.

Filmore - Kazuo, Shogo, Jyunichi

Pleasant View - The General, Mr. Sunshine, Veteran Child, Mark Gabby

What if when you die you end up back at square one with no money, home, guns, vehicles, etc and with a new character who's look is either randomized or you can make yourself?
I didn't even consider that. I'd only have that option on higher difficulties. Because I myself would die way to often to actually gain any progress at all
 
Also some other ideas I had are openly wielding guns and most melee weapons in public gets you a minor wanted level, wearing gang colours (purple, yellow, green, red) in gang territory makes your gang notoriety level slowly rise, with the exceptions of Saints territory because they recognize you or wearing the appropriate colour in the territory, so for example wearing yellow in Ronin territory doesn't increase it unless you attack them, just like the base game, also maybe an optional setting could be that going over the speed limit or running lights gets you a minor wanted level, like in Mafia.


Maybe could also have your characters looks change depending on your actions, so if you're always running you start getting skinnier, if you keep picking up improvised weapons you start getting more muscle, too many trips to Freckle Bitches and you start gaining weight, kinda like San Andreas basically, but I don't know if that would be possible to implement.

Those ideas are definitely interesting, but I was going for a mod that would at least be feasible based on SR2's engine and coding.

I was thinking it could be done by like having the character creators fat meter increasing by 1 every time you eat, reducing by one for every 100 meters you run, muscle increasing by 1 every time you use an improvised weapon, etc, don't know whether or not that would be possible.
