Saints Row 2 Juiced patch crashing my game

i copied and and pasted into the game directory and replaced my copy. Still crashes.

Oringally i thought it was a specfic mission but, ive tried didn't acttives, missions and even a new game save and still crashes. Maybe ill try and play without the juiced patch and see what happens because ive played a big portion with just gotr around 7 hours and probably had 2 crashes but, not at the rate that it is now.
Can you tell me the order you patched your game in?

Curruntly reinstalling base steam version. What oroder should i do everything? Anything else i should add or remove?
Do JuicedPatch first, that is a must. Just run the executable and put everything in the SR2 Directory; Next, follow the GOTR with JuicedPatch tutorial I mentioned earlier; Then, after ensuring it works, add the 4GB patch, ensure it works once again; Then add optional fixes like CutscenePatch or GOTR Homies Fix; Also, make sure when you're installing your optional GOTR mods, don't get conflicting mods, alot of those mods use the same file names, if you wish to use those mods together, you have to use a program like WinMerge to merge them.

When l run the game after the Gotr mod via tutroial are you meant to see all the gotr loading sceens and main menu title? I dont see anything indacating Gotr Mod. My save file wont load becasue it has Gotr mods in and says there mod that arent insalled on the save file. I started a fresh save to test. Worked fine but, still crashes after 13-14 min. l made base Gotr patch via its excludable (just basic P) moved the 3 preload and patch files into the game directory and now the gotr mod is on as i can tell by loading screens and main menu. Still crashed again though. Haven''t installed the 4GB patch yet but, something tells me it wont make a differecne.

i must be doing something wrong installing gotr. 😑

Did you define them in the loose.txt and put everything in the mods folder?

I dont really understand. To define is to make a new text in the loose.txt for the 3 preload & patch files as wells any other mod? or i can i simply copy and the paste the mod directly in the loose.txt under GotR?

So I’ve ran GotR mod just by itself and the game runs fine with no crashes. Then I ran the game just with Juiced patch by itself and I got the the error message. Something to do with Juiced but, I’m not sure what.

What’s the best way to install Juiced just by itself? Is it just as simple as copying the files into the game directory?

No, you define the folder name with each mod ex: "mods/GotR" and "mods/GotR/Optional"; those two are for the GotR mods, the original GotR folder for the main mods while the Optional folder is for optional GotR mods. Then lets say "mods/CutscenePatch" would be the directory for the CutscenePatch mods. Mods are usually tbl, xtbl, lua, etc; you have to define the specific folder that those files are in otherwise JuicedPatch won't detect them.

The way I did it is I copied JuicedPatch into the game directory and ran the JuicedSteamXDel.bat which should patch everything. Remember to overwrite all the original files too. Such as the DLLs and all.
