Saints Row 2 : Enhanced Graphics Fix

Hello.

Before, do not be surprised my crappy English. This is not my original language, but I'll try to be the simplest and most understandable with you.

I noticed, mods Saints Row 2 correcting or improving the graphics are pretty rare or does not exist. Probably because the game files is impossible to modded.

So I thought an external solution. I do not think I'm the first to have used it. and it's possible a other person in the forum already use.

There is a FX that I find ugly in the game, the HDR. Paradoxically, this is also a positive item. Lol
I decided to pair the sweetFX with ENB. The result is interesting, but not finished.

Of course, there is a inconveniant. These shaders (especially ENB) may possible lower the framerate. And Saints Row 2 is a poorly optimized game.

I leave some images of the game with the "fix" in action.

A small question, how to uninstall "clean" Gentlemen of the Row, without uninstall the game on Steam.

I think you can uninstall it by hitting V
P3zDpGp.png

and then moving the patch.vpp_pc, preload.tbl and preload_anim.tbl from the MY_COSTUM_PATCH folder to your SR2 install directory and replace the existing ones.
The patch.vpp_pc, preload.tbl and preload_anim.tbl should be the default vanilla files then.
This is just a guess, though, don't quote me on that.

Holy crap, I think I'll uninstall the game, make a bad manipulation before, even by doing what you say. The mods are still there.

Tant pis....

Here's a video with shaders.

I now, it's too dark at night and the interiors are too light. I must seem to find the right balance.

Thank you for the links. But the configuration (shaders) I use increases the sharpness, removes the slight blur. Suddenly, the backgrounds textures (original) same good. :D

I try to optimize shaders. The game runs better at the beginning but I not excluded losses framerate on other configuration.

Anyway there will be two folder when I have finalized the shaders. One with the ENB series, and one without. ENB consumes a little more resources to a less significant result.
