NPC Audio files

Where can I find the ambient NPC audio files? By which I mean the stuff people say to you in the game, not in cutscenes. Like cops saying "You can't hide from the Stilwater PD" or stuff the enemy gangsters yell at you, or random ped chatter.

I read about persona.xtbl and see .wav files referenced in there but I can't figure out where to find them. And extracting music3 and music4 just gave me *thousands* of numbered .wav files, and I don't want to search all those.

These are the ambient voice files for the civilians as well as the bosses.
 
Yeah those are the numbered ones I found...is there any way to know which is which before opening the file? Can I check an NPC's files to see which ones they use?
 
Not really. The files don't seem to be in much of an order.

Depending on which file you are looking for
(example: Why are we called the Ronin ...") you can narrow it down to one xwb file but you still have to go through all of the files contained in it.

A = Asian
B = Black
H = Hispanic
W = White
M = Male
F = Female

So if you are looking for Charles Shaughnessy's files you'd open SR2_VOC_WM.xwb if you are looking for Pierce it would be SR2_VOC_BM.xwb etc ..
