Modding Support? How will mods be handled?

I've been getting mixed answers on this, so I just want to be sure. SRTT and SR4 are both getting mod tools right? If I'm understanding Google correctly, SRTT is getting the SDK first, and SR4 will get one shortly after?

How long after the release of SR4 can we expect the release of tools?

Also, how will we download and use mods? Will it be like SRTT? Or will it be more like Skyrim and the likes where we "activate" mods. Will the Steam Workshop be used to download mods?

We don't have answers to any of your other questions regarding a timeline on the sdk(s). I would suggest keeping an eye on the Announcements subforum for any future details.

Okay, thank you. I hope it will be released soon and not after long, long, long time like Torchlight 2 (I'm actually not sure if they've released it yet).

Can we expect a large modding audience for SR4? Or will it be more on the low-side like SRTT?
