Made 2 Measure: Seabound's Clothing Patch

IT IS NO LONGER RECOMMENDED TO USE M2M WITH A VANILLA GAME!
Doing so will result in corrupted saves, and possible crashing when starting a new game.

It is unknown why these issues occur, nor how long it has been an issue, since no one has reported it.

What exactly does this mean? Does it mean that things like Juiced patch are required?

What exactly does this mean?
So; It was discovered mid-way through the development of the latest update that Missions were no longer working, and would crash the game after the opening cutscene with both GotR and Vanilla. Strangely, the fix for this was to remove specifically the "Flat" Wear_Option of "Women's Short Tank Top" (which is identical to the regular mesh anyway). Once this was removed, Missions, Activities, etc worked without issue. I guess it was something to do with memory and the Mesh_ID number.

After fixing this, I tested with Vanilla, but the same thing was happening. Given how seemingly random the fix for GotR was, it could literally be any of the thousands of Wear_Options in customization_items.xtbl which would need to be removed in order to get Missions, etc working again.

Now, you only have to look back through this thread to see the potential issues with M2M, and how inconsistent they are between different people. But I don't want to risk telling people "Yeah, it's totally safe to use." when it may or may not be. So if you choose to use M2M with Vanilla, do it on a new save game, and be aware there may or may not be serious issues resulting from doing so. You might be fine, you might not. GotR on the other hand is a safer bet, because that's the environment M2M was developed in.

TL,DR; I wouldn't risk using M2M with Vanilla, as the potential issues are not as well known or understood as they are with GotR, and they have the potential to make the game unplayable or corrupt save files.

Does it mean that things like Juiced patch are required?
Juiced Patch may or may not help with M2M's issues. (Eg; The option to increase memory for customization items doesn't work with M2M for some reason. Hence, there hasn't been any significant update to M2M with a ton of new content.) But I would say Juiced is basically a requirement for SR2 these days anyway.

i found some stuff but im throwing in the towel and passing the torch to you, im stuck and i think itd be best if you took a look at some of this stuff lol.

and then theres the holy grail that has me stuck. a LOT more of the pants in the game have unused "low" variants that the VIDs from other low waist jeans dont work on.

just search "_L.cmesh" on the file searcher and youll see what i mean. over half of them arent in vanilla customization items as wearable options. i also think its funny to note the swat pants are just the beat cop pants with the legs rolled up if you want to go that route.

EDIT: ok you did some of the pants sorry for not checking first whoops

Hey, Janson. All that stuff was restored in M2M v1.3. Some of the Medallions either weren't restored or were removed because space was needed for more significant Items, and I considered them a worthy sacrifice.

The VIDs for Pants are:
105 = Extra-High Waistband Front
106 = Extra-High Waistband Back
107 = High Waistband Front
108 = High Waistband Back
109 = Mid-Height Waistband Front
110 = Mid-Height Waistband Back
111 = Low Waistband Front
112 = Low Waistband Back
113 = Extra-Low Waistband Front
114 = Extra-Low Waistband Back
115 = Both Upper Thighs
116 = Both Lower Thighs
117 = Both Knees
118 = Both Upper Shins
119 = Both Lower Shins
120 = Both Ankles (cmbot_wcanvamf01_l only.)
...
218 = Pants Lower Thighs (Cut Meshes Only, such as cmbot_wsnakskin1_l.cmesh_pc.)
219 = Pants Knees (Cut Meshes Only, such as cmbot_wsnakskin1_l.cmesh_pc.)
220 = Pants Upper Shins (Cut Meshes Only, such as cmbot_wsnakskin1_l.cmesh_pc.)
221 = Pants Shins (Obscured by Thick Boots to make Pants legs look like they're tucked into the boots.)
222 = Upper Shins
223 = Lower Shins

Most of the Pants in the final game group most of their VIDs (usually "113" to "120") together into VID "0", but the unused leftover Pants usually still use all of their VIDs individually, and do not use "0" at all.

VIDs "218", "219", "220", "222" and "223" are not used by any meshes in the final game, only by the leftover Pants. "221" is used by final-game Pants to hide the ankles when long boots are worn, but the leftover pants instead use either "220" or "222" & "223" (I don't remember which), and the height of the cut is slightly different.

There are also some "Flat" versions of Chains which were not restored in M2M. They're usually unfinished in some way. The "Loops" Chains have a strange pattern on them which allows you to both color them and use metallic Materials like Silver and Gold. I don't have a screenshot, unfortunately.

Their names are:
cmch1_uloops01_of (Overshirt layer)
cmch1_uloops01_sf (Skin Layer)
cmch1_uloops01_uf (Undershirt Layer)
cmch2_uloops01_of
cmch2_uloops01_sf
cmch2_uloops01_uf
cmch3_uloops01_of
cmch3_uloops01_sf
cmch3_uloops01_uf

using miscreant's custom outfits mod, now having a bug. when i go through the outfits, it will give me some of the clothes without buying the outfit. for example: when i scroll past the genki outfit it will give me the cat ears, but not put them in my inventory (it will just be on my head until i scroll past another item in that same slot) putting it in this thread because it feels like its a bug with this mod not his. can send gameplay if its not clear what i mean.

This is a known issue with M2M.

-SeaBoundSaint- mentions it on the first page of the topic.

"Sticky" Items:
- Some item Categories may exhibit "Sticky" behaviour when switching menus and Outfits, applying the item even when you don't want them to be applied. This was an issue before M2M, but has been exacerbated by the addition of new Slots which were previously unused. The issue is due to the properties of those Slots, which cannot be edited (to my knowledge)."

loll shouldve seen that my bad.

Would it be possible to remove the top half of the stalagmite so that it would look more like a fez?
Sorry for the late reply.
Not via VIDs. You could do something via texture editing, but if you were to chop the point off, then there would just be a hole in the top. You would also have to disable it's shadows by hex editing the .cmesh, since part of the mesh would no longer be textured.
