4. Specifically disable certain: powers/power upgrades/weapons/weapon upgrades/general

Powers and Upgrades done
Unable to locate Plunger Gun, 'Merica, Knifethrower ( one of the <UID>1##</UID>, will need to test)

- Will need to remove tutorial bits to prevent getting stuck, or include a cheat or something to skip those 'quests'
Does removing powers you gain from defeating wardens crash the game or something?

4b. Edit Super Sprint: No movement increase&effect, but still be able to run up walls and over water at slightly increased speed.
dont know what value determines movementspeed increase / Applies the blue glow effect


4c. Edit Super Jump: Normal jump height is not increased, but charging does have an effect, and still be able to grab onto walls. Also, After a charged-jump player should be able to Air Dash.

Remove enemy overhead healthcircle thingy
Equipped weapon always remains in hands when sprinting
Can only take 1 homie with you, Super-homies when unlocked replaced by default versions

I have very little modding experience, would very much appreciate help and advice!

I'm aware there are guides out there, but because i have adhd and with that a short-attention span it makes following the instructions sometimes very difficult.. Consider this an invitation to join in on this project :p


SUMMARY
The idea is to play the game without certain powers/weapons/skills which can make a player too powerful and dus deprive enjoyment generally gained from feeling challenged, This also adds value to playing coop.

Hardcore difficulty.
All Cheats are removed.
Everything is unlocked/purchased from the start with limitations in mind, No need to grind.
Players will have to use Vehicles to get around quickly.
Working together to defeat large groups and 'bosses' is actually worth something now.

(In short)Reasoning Regarding Limitations;
Disenable enemies from attacking or moving
Knockback on large objects
Infinite ammo/stamina
Life leech exploiting
Notoriety disappearing in seconds
Excessive mobility and resistances
AOE attacks that are too effective
High dual-wield damage scaling
DOT effects that last forever
Mass instant-killing potential
Effects that are just impractical
..and generally things to increase difficulty

In regards to To-Do #4:

While modifying the weapon_upgrades.xtbl so I could significantly increase recoil I noticed the following.

If you delete this chunk out of it then it will be removed from the game, even if it is a power that has already been purchased previously. I assume that the same should be possible for "Pump Action - Super Knockback" and all the other weapon upgrades you wish to remove.
 
It will look weird but ya in theory most weapons can be duel wielded by changing the flag. They just look a bit odd if I remember correctly when you are reloading.
 
Regarding #2, no it cannot nor do I think it can. Same goes for if the client has it so his/her guns shoot insta-death lasers, they'll still shoot insta-death lasers.
 
Regarding #3, spawn_info_ranks.xtbl is the file you want to edit.
EDIT: And spawns (I assume per notoriety level), you want to edit notoriety_spawn.xtbl.
 
Will this mod affect Steam achievements like collect all clusters....I don't mods to disable or affect achievements in any way possible...
