Interactive Desktop Characters

So there's a lot of these Desktop Character Games/Apps that have me intrigued by the concept, but not by the execution. Most of the IDC Games/Apps I've looked at, just have generic anime characters, which doesn't really interest me. I'm wondering if the Character Models from SRTT & SRIV can be converted and ported to one of these IDC Games/Apps? So I can have Saints Row Characters running around my desktop and being able to interact with them?

Any suggestions?

Assuming they are on Steam, you can take a look at ones that have Workshop support - if it's popular in that regard like how Wallpaper Engine was in animated desktop wallpapers, there's bound to be some good tutorials.
I don't have any recommendations in particular though, haven't tried them due to privacy concerns due to them being f2p

Although I'm not sure about the models (I am a invalid when it comes to that technical stuff) I will throw in the mention that if you want a character on your desktop, MateEngineX is opensource if you don't want to pay for the other stuff. It doesn't have the same features but it's a good lightweight alternative. Best of luck on your search though, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this post.
