How to edit Warden

Hey guys. Today, I'll be teaching you how to edit the warden NPC file! By doing this, you will be able to: edit his health, and other cool stuff!

What you'll need:
Minimauls Tools: http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/threads/minimauls-saints-row-iv-tools.3188/
An extractor (Example: 7zip, winrar, ect) 7zip: http://www.7-zip.org/
A pair of hands.
Notepad ++: http://notepad-plus-plus.org/

So, first, if you've already extracted your misc_tables, you can skip to step (7)
1. Open Minimauls tools, and double click 'ThomasJepp.SaintsRow.ExtractPackfileGUI.exe'

2. Make a new folder on your desktop. Call it whatever you like.

3. In the extract window, find your Saints Row IV directory.

4. Packfiles > pc > cache > misc_tables is the file you want. Click it, and then click open.

5. It will pop up with a window. Click the folder on your desktop you made earlier, and 'OK'

6. Horah! Now, go into the folder.

7. Find spawn_info_ranks.xtbl, and open with Notepad ++

8. Go to line '3081'
[If you want to disable wardens, remove 3081 to 3124]

9. You should see hit points, and other stuff. Edit at your will!

If this doesn't work for some of you, I'll edit the post and do another way. If I get anything wrong, please correct me. I'm new to modding.

@KevinBaconPharaohOfAll I don't see why I would have to, it's just health edited and stuff, but I'm sure there's a way to replace the warden model? Then, I would post a pic. When I find out how to edit the warden model, If you can for that matter, I'll post a tutorial. But if someone has already made a tutorial on that, I won't.
 
Btw this is not realy editing the warden you are just editing his rank :p, also you could have some info about each element the rank is made up off,
and you cant use the Spawn_info_ranks.xtbl from your misc_tables not if you have the game updated that is, you need to get the update compatible version from Patch _compresed.vpp
and you can upload photos to an img hosting website and add them in as code using direct url insted of uploads that way they will show up in the layout insted of at the bottom

but all in all good job for your first tut and I know your new at modding so ill cut you some slack its good to see some one trying to help the community :)

also few things you could add to this tut look up the warden.xtbl I think thats one and hes prob in the Character table to and a few other places
you can track him from one table to another by looking what other tabels each element that makes up the warden sources its info from its all at the bottom of the table it self

I did notice :p, but I understrand your new, you dont gota use @ ever time you can just hit reply it will quote what I said
or you can copy and paste then type

also iv noticed you have a complex layout for extracting :S, you should just use one folder to unpack to called Packfiles :p
its up to you just seems like you dont need that many folders you will end up looking all over place for your files when you end up with like 100 diffren files and folders etc

and then expand your section with more detail

showing the code and you could use like bold etc then to highlight things that people could change and then talk about what the changes would do these are all just ideas, feel free to tell me to fuck off and mind my own buisness if you want to :p

I hope it's possible to edit the warden and make him spawn as a mild mannered NPC that when he sees you, he runs up to you cheering and asking for your autograph.:eek::confused::p
You can make him a saints fan in the character.xtbl and give him the Gat mascot voice personna in the character_definitions.xtbl.:plol
