Character Customization How do I copy an NPC's appearance better than just eyeballing it?

Disclaimer: I am not too familiar with SR2's character systems, and not that great with character creator thingmajigs. The longer I spend in the Plastic Surgeon menu unattended the likelier I am to make a crackhead
I saw Player Body Swaps and discovered Luz is not within the archive.
Since the bodies in that mod are leftovers, I assumed I should refer to the NPC Editing Guide instead for some insight.
I found some info in the _cha, which told me :

What other files can expose info so I can Steal Her Look ™️? Face, makeup, hair style (this list probably helps), clothes, etc.
Or is it in the mythical "crunched" state and I would have to refer to youtube videos or something? (I have issues with watching videos, thus why I wanted to avoid it.)

As an addenum, is trying to match the body's morph/shape more easier with Humanistic Sliders Evo?

Thanks for any info.

Like most NPCs, Luz is built upon the same body mesh as Playa (cmbod_human.cmesh), which is why she looks more generic compared to her SR1 model.

Check out "npc_luz.xtbl". It will have every item she wears listed as a VID (with the internal name, which isn't usually that different from the in-game English name). The Persona Voices an NPC can use are also listed in those files.

You don't need HS:Evo to replicate it, seeing as NPCs were (most likely) created using Vanilla slider values. But HS:Evo only adds to what you can do. So you might as well, if you want.

My english is bad just I think I am reading this right you want to look like the NPC as player?
I think you cannot make it possible 100% without slider mods.
I've analyzed the NPC enough to know their makeup has colours the players cannot use. Even some has lips or eye style I couldn't replicate.
The best thing to do is mess with body slider mods until it's plausible.

Yeah, this seems like the case.
Juiced play_as is nice but cannot wear different clothes, that's why I was curious

For eye shape, there are three hidden sliders which only get used for Race Presets in Vanilla (made accessible through HS:Evo); "African American", "Asian" and "Caucasian". (The "Hispanic" Race Preset sets all three sliders to "0".) Each changes the face morph in ways other sliders can't. So if you're in Vanilla, it does matter which Race Preset you choose before morphing your character.

One thing you can't do in Vanilla is adjust Normal Map strengths without also adjusting the body morph (which you can do in HS:Evo). (Eg: npc_freckle_bitch.)

In regards to colors for clothing, etc., you might be right. But some NPC meshes don't display colors as accurately as the actual customization item meshes do. For example, I could have an Ultor Orange tie for npc_dane and it would look correct, but if I give npc_rich_male an Ultor Orange tie, it looks faded. (I'd show screenshots, but I can't find them.)

There are also errors in NPC Variant Tables in regards to colors, such as npc_repair, whose hair colors don't appear correctly due to a conflict in how hair colors are structured in the table (between Primary, Secondary, and Facial Hair). Or the leftover NPCs from the Main Menu idle cutscene, who all have silver cheek makeup for some reason.
