how can i creat a custom mod?

how do i creat a custom mod to make like new cloths, weapons, hair styles, vehicles and stuff like that without replacing any of the ingame stuff? i want to add new guns like a 1911 Colt 45 acp, or a Famas assult rifle, or some of the guns in the original two saints row games, or some awsome new cloths, a military like buzz cut, just a bunch of stuff. please some one help me i want to know how, and if i can figure it out i promise i'll share the new stuff with every one on here, i just need to know what kind of programs, like everything i need to get started, i love what yall are doing and i wanna be in it too, please help me im new to this stuff.

thanks that helps alot and that would explain why no one else has done it, but thanks ill try the script and textures, hopefully the mesh tool will come soon, all the weapons in the game are boring now, and we do need some new maps to keep the game going. thank you for your help!


In the meantime, the only thing you can edit are table files, scripts, and textures. You'll want to start here:

Already moved. What you're seeing is a redirect that will expire after one day. The actual thread is in the correct forum now (Get Help/Troubleshooting). It's all set.
