Gansta's in space weapons issue

After completing the 3 missions for Gansta's in space I didn't get any of the guns. I used them, but they didn't appear in my inventory, it struck me as kind of odd. I know I have my own weapons mod installed, but should it have made it totally void to the game? I was able to use them and everything, but they just don't exist in my inventory now for some reason.

The laser guns are only available when playing gangsta's, not in the main game, not yet anyway.

Volition's official statement is that not allowing the player to keep the weapons is by design. They attribute it to not having enough memory to preload all the meshes outside of that specific mission.

I am still looking at a possible solution to mod this in though.

Oh... huh, I figured it was due to having my own weapons mod installed might have effected the inventory.
