Favorite Indie\Middle-Market Games-Franchises?

Title should pretty self-explanatory. As we all know Saints Row is often considered a "Middle Market Title". A game made by a small team of developers without the restraints (or help) of a large publishers. You can simply list them, go into full detail about 'em or simply post a video of it.
My personal favorites.
Armored Core For Answer
Dead Rising Series
Just Cause 2

Hard Reset
One of my all-time favorite shooters. It's a shame that it's not better known, since it's a really beautiful game with a very Bladerunner-like atmosphere. Really good game engine with lots of dynamic lighting. Made by a small company in Poland.

The Stanley Parable
It's the narration that makes this game. Very clever and funny. The excellent free demo explains everything -- you should definitely download that first.

Metro 2033
Yay, Deep Silver!!! 4A Games is a comparatively small company from Ukraine. It has a distinctly Russian perspective, which I really liked. Great game!

(I have the PC Steam version of all of these)
