Now the game won't even let me get in any vehicles, and if I try to get one out of my garage, I'm met with the infamous black loading screen that never ends.

Seriously, WTF!?

Oh wait, this only seems to occur in Co-op... So I guess me and my friend won't be playing together anytime soon.

As it turned out, it was much more stable when I hosted but still we both had the same issues. It must be a co-op exclusive bug. I love the game just like any of the other games but the super buggy co-op just kills a lot of the charm of the game whenever you and I use it. The updates do seems to be making the game slowly more stable and with better hardware, I think the solo experience would be near perfect for me. I just hope the co-op gets a lot of work done on it at some point and works as well as the other Saints Row titles.
