Church Revival Project

This mod edits the Memorial Church interior to make it look like the previous game using the SR2 Chonker. Collision is still the same and a lot of it is unfinished. A lot of object shadows haven't been removed and some things are floating.

I could try but I also want to figure out how to add custom models and swap the colliders so I can add Dex's and Gat's offices as well as fix the fallen pillar to look how it did in the first game; but yeah, I'll do what I can to edit the church textures, I just need to find them first.
Edit: Keep in mind, every object that I "removed" is floating beneath the map somewhere since I don't know how to remove things.

Adding Julius, Dex, and Gat's offices back would be great. I started the SR series with SR2, so when I went back and played the first game, I was surprised at how much they removed from the Church in SR2.

Just one question though? What are you planning to do with the Spiral Staircase? Because it's the only access to the second floor.

Also, if you are able to get the offices from the first game, what's stopping you from just porting over the whole Church?

One word, chunks. The game is split into chunks meaning porting over the whole church from the first game would nearly be impossible since they use two different file types and the chunks are totally different. The church is somewhere between chunk 102-104 I think which includes nearly all of the Saints Row district while the interior is its own chunk. Porting anything at this time is probably impossible since you would need to know how to export the models of the church from SR1 and mess with its rotation, position, and give it collision. Pretty much impossible. Now I am sure editing the model of the church is very possible now in SR2, but its collision is something I know nothing about.
 
Just wondering. If you're able to do all this with the Church, is it possible to edit Old Stilwater? Because I've always wanted Old Stilwater to renovate alongside Saints HQ. Starting off with Default, then Construction, then finally a fully renovated version with a Saints Theme.

Also, about the staircase, I'm not opposed to removing it, but I also want to keep it for story convenience. You wouldn't be able to get the CD or listen to what Julius has to say if I did.

Technically, yes. You can edit this visually. The tools we have now cannot edit collision or remove things, and it cannot change the meshes to things from other chunks.
