Vehicles changing the sound of vehicle weapons (modding)

I wish to change the sound of the Bear's MG to that of the Challenger's roof MG without changing its stats (so that it sounds the same way it did in Saints Row IV) but idk in which file to do that in
could someone reach out for some help?
 
According to this thread, changing the weapon's model may be enough. You would have to find what its name is within the Challenger's files, of course

I did exactly that. I replaced <Weapon_Model>BRUTE_MINIGUN</Weapon_Model> with <Weapon_Model>HELI_FIGHTER_01_W</Weapon_Model>. Not the best fix, but it works instead of having a gun completely silent. No clue how to troubleshoot the audio issue or even fix it.
