SRTT BSDM Club and Power Plant

Hey guys

About the BDSM Club. Thanks to IdolNinja his Sandbox+ mod I was able to revert the powerplant, bdsm club and three count casino back to their original states.

This gave me the possibility to enter the Three Count Casino again.

But I cannot enter the BDSM club though, as in the 'return to steelport' mission. Would it be possible to make it enterable again in free roam?

And about the power plant, would it be possible for that one to enter it again through the cooling tower, like you had to do in one of the missions? Where you have to steal the chair from the Deckers for Kinzie?

If this would be possible, I do think that it wouldn't be possible to exit it again right? Because you have to jump through the cooling tower in the room and when the mission is done you respawn outside. This wouldn't be a problem though, as using the spectre bike would make it possible to exit again.

I think that making these two buildings enterable could be done, by using one of the codes out of the mission its files. (And putting it in the sr3_city.lua :confused: just a guess)
 
You can enter the BDSM club just fine. Use the sonic boom weapon to open the door.
 
I hope one of the mods to come out in the future is converting the post-takeover strongholds to use the pre-takerover interiors instead of that generic interior used for all three

With all respect IdolNinja, but at first I thought you were joking XD Sorry, but indeed, that works, thanks man.

Yeah, you can enter both of them but neither have any NPCs spawning inside of them outside of a mission. If one of you Volition dudes could let us know if there's a way to enable those spawns outside of a mission, that would be awesome.

Hey Shitface, after entering the Three Count, just run around for a bit, NPCs do spawn outside of missions while in there.

You mean you want the saints cribs (the three purple skyscrapers), but with the old interiors?

Safeword would be cool to have NPCs to. And the power plant to? I haven't managed to jump into the cooling tower though, perhaps there is a code in the 'stop all the downloading' mission file that opens up the cooling tower, like in that mission.
 
I was always sad that so much art time went into such a small portion of gameplay and players couldn't revisit the content. I'm happy to see mods like this come around because it's easy to miss things on the play through of a mission.

It would be nice if we would be able to create new elevators to use in free roam.

I was thinking about making the elevator from the STAG PR department to work again so you can go to the upper offices again.
Making the elevator at the strip club work again so we can use it to go to the roof and the other way around as well as creating the possibility to go to the first floor of the saints HQ in Sunset Park was also something I thought about.
I also thought about giving the player acces to the garage of the syndicate tower again and make that elevator there also usable so we can go to the offices and the cloning facility of the brutes.
Another one should be one out front of the nuclear power plant so we can go back into the decker cooling tower and then add another one at the chair we had to take for Kinzie so we can use that one to go back to the deckers.die area and the trail blazing area.
Adding another one of these at one of the big planes of the airport which would put is inside the plane (the interior of Lorens jet or the STAG jet), an open the door spot for the BDSM club, when STAG is active a teleport so we can enter the big STAG aircraft carrier (can't remember its name, tempylopelakejfke XD), a teleport to the mayors office, a teleport in front of the main entrance of the airport which would bring us to the Stillwater area, a teleport for those who own the gangsters in space dlc which gets us in the hanger from the second mission, a teleport in front of a house for Jimmy Torbinson his room, a teleport on the street so we can use it to go to the area where Killbane had the interview with Jane Valderama, a teleport to go inside the Powder Room from the Morningstar, a teleport outside the Murderbrawl arena to go to the ring where you had to fight killbane, a teleport outside of the stadium in Loren Square which would bring us to the Genki arena's.

As you can see I have a whole lot of idea's which would be very cool if it could be done. Sandbox+ already offers the ability to go to these spaces, but if creating custom teleport locations could be done, I defenitly wouldn't mind using those ;)

To bad Volition had to work under pressure and finish the game before a certain deadline. Perhaps if they would have gotten a few more weeks, things like these could have gotten implemented.
 
Well, if they Saints rule Steelport. Why not have an optrion to invest the money in rebuilding things?
Fix the things the Saints broke. not only gives you the areas to play in/with, also get more popularity, the gang that rebuild the city (they destroyed)
