That depends on who wants to use them.. Since you're adding them, you need to edit .xtbl files (items_3d, items_inventory, store_weapons, weapons) and preload.tbl. For gangs to use them, you need to edit "spawn_info_ranks.xtbl".

Keep in mind one thing, the more you add weapons or items in general, more unstable your sr2 will be. You can blame items_3d and preload.tbl for that..
 
Ok, I give up, I spent all night trying to figure out a way to add those guns without replacing and it only ever crashed the game or had npcs holding invisible weapons.
Anybody who isn't as rusty as I am is welcome to try.
 
Yeah, tryed to implement them myself.. doesnt seem to work. That why i gave up trying to add new weapons, just waiting for one day those limitations disappear or just get an improve, until then..

Same error I always got.
Well, imma stick with GotR for now, maybe I'll play the DLC but until we get a way to add new weapons without breaking the game I'll have to stay with GotR, for better and for worse.

Idolninja used mostly items_inventory to add weapons, almost all of them dont have a 3d model on items_3d, causing them to not drop on the floor when you switch guns in gameplay.. they just disappear and cant be picked up unless you change it in your crib.

That strategy kinda worked to not use so many lines in preload.tbl and items_3d.xtbl

Man you think you can add an option for this? I’d rather this than not have them at all lol I LOVE the spas. Not tryna be demanding just a suggestion. Good work on ALL your mods big fan 🙏
