3 Gold stars on stoppies

So after a really lot of times trying this by my way, or the ways from old forums, I still can't do 3 gold stars.
I've tried both K&M and Gamepads, but they behave same.

Is it even possible, did anyone ever do this? Is there a special tactic that only small amount of people know?

It can be done but its more luck than skill.

You need to choose a slope, like the piece of freeway that connects to Huntersfield. I usually build up my speed then aim for the road that turns into the hotel property.

I usually use either a Kenshin or a Tetsuo. Upgrading is not necessary. By the way I use a controller.
