There are some oddities though. For example "npc_young_male_generic" and "npc_young_male_generic_2" don't work, but can be spawned via the lua executer. There are also some Hitman Targets that don't work, not to mention "npc_npc_target15" which doesn't exist and looks to be a typo...
I wouldn't recommend doing this because it will prevent other warning notifications from appearing. But you should be able to change it to say "ExceptionHandler=0" in juiced.ini.
But if it pops up, you can quickly hit Enter to get rid of it anyway, and if it's not too frequent it's no big deal.
I get this occasionally too. I think it means a texture didn't load in properly, so the game is likely to crash. This doesn't necessarily mean it will crash, but it's a good idea to save your progress in case it does.
There's no limit to the amount of modded files you can have installed, but only one of each file can be installed/active at a time, otherwise there will be file conflicts, which will crash the game before reaching the main menu.
Hair Color mods require two files...
I remember CabooseSayzWTF explaining to me that there are differences in how Nvidia and AMD cards render Material properties in this game. This was either referring to the transparency of the Saint Of All Saints statue in Saints HQ Stage 3, or the WineGlass fix. (Caboose originally uploaded an...
Yeah, I get that. It would be nice, but maybe you'll be waiting a while. So I just offered up another way.
What would be cool is to have a kind of "VID Toggle" option. It would open up text input (like Juiced's LUA executer), then the user would type the number of a VID they want hidden from...
As mentioned above, It depends on file conflicts. There are two methods of achieving independent eyebrow colours:
- Singa's mod moves eyebrow items into the facial hair categories so they can share the facial hair colours (via customization_items.xtbl).
- Natural Hair-colour Studio changes the...
Does the crash happen before or after the fade-to-black that happens after pressing "E" to trigger the mission?
- If it happens before, it's more likely to do with the mission script failing to load something.
- If it happens after, it's more likely to be an incompatibility with the cutscene...
M2M must be listed above GotR in loose.txt, as it is built upon GotR's files. If you don't do this, GotR's original files will override M2M's.
Your loose.txt should ideally look something like this:
mods/M2M
mods/JUICED - Animations
mods/JUICED - Chunk Fixes
mods/JUICED - Credits
mods/JUICED -...
1. Make sure there are no spelling mistakes between the mod folder and loose.txt.
2. Try only installing the Essential Files.
3. Show me your loose.txt.
You installed the entire folders from "optional_mods" to the "mods" folder. You instead need to install the files within those folders. You can't install all of GotR's Optional mods at once because they will conflict with each other. Pick and choose the files you want from "optional_mods", and...
Have you tried disabling Masamaru's HQ Texture Pack? (Just type an "X" into the folder name.)
It could be that the larger textures are overloading the memory.
This cutscene takes place across two different locations, so it's not out of the realm of possibility.
Pretty much any mod should work with Juiced Patch. GotR can be a different story sometimes though.
Mod pages will typically mention whether they were made for Vanilla or GotR.
I'd recommend installing GotR via this method, which can avoid some issues and make troubleshooting a little easier if...
Even if this doesn't work out, it's worth hyping it up to show that there is still enough interest to make some kind of future Saints Row project worthwhile. People are jaded, and rightly so. But here's someone in the industry experienced with the original games, with both an idea and an...
The way I understand it (through speculation) is this:
Exactly. Because why would an Elderly NPC (for example) need voice lines for chasing a car with a hostage in it?
I'd imagine there's another persona_situation for hostage victims.
Not every NPC will have audio for every...
You can attach any persona_situation listed in "persona_situations.xtbl" to a Taunt or Compliment via "customizable_action.xtbl".
Not sure if it's especially helpful, but here are all the persona_Situations Playa's regular voices can use (taken from my Animations guide):
There are many more...
It might be possible via the Playa's Character file (StyleTest_pc_cha.xtbl) by using <Persona_Override>, but I haven't tried it. It does work for NPCs though.
