Hey so I just re-tired the ThomasJepp tool again to see if it's still working fine on my end so I'm not sure what's causing the error on your end. Here's the command prompt script I got:
" Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.22621.4317]

Soo...good news, it turns out that switching your Saints Row IV back to its Legacy variant should allow the ThomasJepp tool to work properly. The bad news for me is that I'm currently working on a custom full-body suit and I just got done rigging it in Maya but now I'm running into the issue in...
How do you even revert Saints Row IV to its Legacy version? I didn't even know that was a thing lol. Would people still be able to utilize said Legacy-made mods using the new standard Re-Elected version of Saints Row IV, or will they have to revert their copies of the game to the Legacy version?
Fingers crossed that this issue can get resolved soon, it would be one hell of a Christmas gift to be able to mod Saints Row IV again lmao! I honestly don't think I have the patience or intelligence to learn how to mod games like GTA San Andreas lol.
Yeah, I'm still having the same issue you are and I've also tried using both Rev121 and Rev133 but to no avail and I'm also using the Saints Row IV Re-Elected version of the game.
Sorry to bother you all here, but I recently reinstalled the ThomasJepp.SaintsRow-rev121 and ThomasJepp.SaintsRow-rev133 and I just tried to clone the CID suit to use for a possible mod I've been working on and keep running into the following error message:
" Unhandled Exception...
It's honestly sad that it even had to escalate to something like that, especially in this pure awesomeness that is this community but nonetheless let's all hope for a brighter future and a better life!!!
Ah alright it's just that A ) I have always primarly used Blender 2.79 since for me it's always been pretty straightforward and way less confusing and B ) I'm not exactly a pro at rigging armature regardless of what version of Blender I have been using hence why I mainly used Maya 2015 to do the...
Wait wait wait one moment!!! You mean to tell me it's now possible to just use Blender (Or at least the newest version of it) to do all the rigging and stuff and just export it from there instead of having to transfer the model into Maya to rig it or am I totally miss understanding what you are...
Damn that really blows on the whole modding clothing item side of things (Fucking thanks Autodesk!) but at least there still some kind of hope for modding in weapon skins for what I'm hearing. I guess my next question is then did you pretty much follow the same steps as you would you were...
Hey hey hey! Just got a dumb question here I was wondering if anyone could help out with by chance. So for a while now I haven't been really modding as much as I use to back around 2019 mostly due to lack of motivation and me moving to a new state and all that jazz. But recently I have been...
Rest in peace Idolninja, thank you for all awesome content you created for through the years. From a simple modder to becoming a actually staff member of Volition, you will be forever a legend in the community.
Hey long time no hear huh lol. I'm SUPER sorry for disappearing like that, some stuff came up and I got side tracked for a bit. But I'm finally back lol. And I got the files if your are still interested in helping me out, even thought you are probably sick of dealing with my dumb ass. Again...
Hey it's me again, so I just tried cloning the Swat SMG as a new weapon and making sure to model my mesh based around SMG_A_Large, the closet model to the Swat SMG, and made sure the bone_CLIP's pivot point is in the same spot as the default SMG_A_Large's gunmag_handel tag. And I still got the...
Do you think it could be due to the fact that the weapon I cloned was the Mercenary LMG costume skin for Shokolov AR? Did once try to model my mesh around the Shokolov AR and it kinda worked, the only problem I kept running into was that the bone_clip mesh kept being moved into spots where...
Hey it's me, sorry for the late update. So I took at the model you sent yesterday and I tried going through the whole process again except this time I tried to be sure that the pivot point my bone_clip is in the exact same position as the tag_gunmag_handle, recorded as usual so you or anyone can...
Hey just saw your message, thanks for getting back to me! I'll definitely take a look and get back to you sometime tomorrow if I have any further issues (Fingers crossed in hopes they're won't be lol). Also again sorry if I came off a bit snippy with the last comment I'm just frustrated with the...
