    How Is This Game?

It's alright. The gameplay is fun, although somewhat repetitive. The story is somewhat... cliched.

SPOILERS Agents of Mayhem: Favorite Characters

Braddock: She is fun to play and has some funny bits of dialogue. Her personal mission had some funny stuff in it but at the same time did nothing to really flesh her out as a character. Daisy: Fun to play as well but found the mini-gun to be kind of annoying in that you could only get it to...

SPOILERS Agents of Mayhem - A Critique

This evening I finished "Agents of Mayhem" and I thought I'd write a critique, mostly for Volition but everyone is welcome to read it. I should start with my background, as a game player and as a fan of Volition. I play a wide variety of game types (Adventure, Action, RPG, MMOs), primarily I...

    Bugs & Suggestions

Bugs Severe performance drop sometimes when a lot of particle effects are in use. Sometimes during mayhem the attack doesn't work (rare) AoM does not properly handle "Windowed Borderless" at launch, need to switch to "Fullscreen" and back again. After the wedding, I had camera shake everywhere...

    First Impressions (No Spoilers)

More Feedback: During a personal mission, there are flashbacks, yet the LEGION doomsday weapon was nearby along with snipers making it really annoying (especially since if I went to take out the sniper it warned about leaving the mission area.). During personal missions, it would probably be...

    First Impressions (No Spoilers)

After 12 hours of play: I like how difficulty auto-adjusts based on the squad levels so when you get a new agent and have their mission it takes into account that they are level 1 etc. I miss the over the top crazy humor that Saints Row 4 had but AoM has a different tone and is a slightly more...

    First Impressions (No Spoilers)

Agents of Mayhem just unlocked for me a few hours ago and I'm enjoying the game. I'm approaching it as a new IP, not Saints Row or a spin-off (although, indirectly, it is). I kind of miss having my own custom character but that's a lot of work and I think Volition wanted to do something...

    Extracting, and Converting SR4's Soundtrack

Wwise Audiokinetic accepts WAV files only but uses (and thus Saints Row does too) OGG internally (although it's not the same container). Converting WAV to OGG will be lossy by definition but it's actually not that noticable, plus the fact that the sound is played through the in-game 'radio'...

[BUG] Saints Row IV - Most Soundtrack Music Too Loud

Most of the score for Saints Row IV (not a licensed song/radio) plays too loudly, even with music set low (like 40). Most of the scenes outside of the simulation have this issue (the worst is the scene during Matt-Space). (The score is occasionally so loud it even clips.)

Visual bug in the grand finale mission [Spoiler]

Aw crap I saw this after I created a new thread, sorry! https://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/threads/bug-saints-row-iv-issue-at-end-of-game.15096/

[BUG] Saints Row IV - Issue At End Of Game

Warning, there are spoilers here for the final mission of Saints Row IV. At the very end of "Punch The Shark" when you defeat Zinyak, when you pull of his head another copy of the object stays with your character through the end cutscenes and even the suprise cutscene after the credits. It's...

    Agents of Mayhem gameplay details!

Looking forward to this although a little disappointed that we don't have character customization but I can deal with that.

SRIV SDK Release B: Adding New Customization Items

Another tip, in a Windows command prompt you can change drive and directory at the same time: cd /d "D:\My Mods\Stuff"

That's a good tip, thanks Minimaul.

I was able to get it to work but only if I didn't specify a destination.

    Save file nonsense

(There seems to be a problem right now with Gat Out of Hell not being able to read Saints Row IV's save to import the "Boss" properly due to a change in SRIV's save file format. Since Volition didn't code Gat Out of Hell I have no idea if it will ever be fixed.) According to...

    Save file nonsense

Saves do work like that but it would require a little bit of editing of the remotecache.vdf file. Attached are starting saves for Gat Out of Hell, they go in the same folder as the Saints Row IV saves. (Steam userdata "206420". You'll need to edit the remotecache.vdf file to point at the...

    Can't Start a New Campaign

Correct, I had to nuke all my SR4 saves (after backing them up), play Steam "offline" to successfully start a new GOOH campaign (with generic "Boss").

    Can't Start a New Campaign

If that's the case, they should update GOOH shouldn't they?

    Can't Start a New Campaign

I just finished my second playthrough of Saints Row IV and when I try to start a new campaign in Gat Out of Hell I get this strange message: "This save file could not be loaded because the file has been corrupted or is an invalid save file." If it's grabbing my Saints Row IV saves, I can load...
