Chapter 1 finally begins with a title page and a news report. For those interested, the Stilwater PD magazine ad was based on this amazing billboard found in the tutorial level of the actual game:

And here's the final page of the prologue! The first chapter will probably take a bit longer to begin.

Page 6 is up! It was supposed to wrap up the prologue, but I ended up splitting it into this and a splash page which is coming soon.

So me and my friend were really excited about the reveal of SRU, and really disappointed that it never got released. It really had that good old "classic" SR feel and the script (or what we got to know about it) had some awesome ideas like the civil war and someone as cool as Ranja as a bad guy...

I think there might be a problem with the SR1 sprinting animation? I only tried the "with running" version, but for some reason only the running animation works while sprinting results in a t-pose. It's such a cool find, I'm just dying to try it out. EDIT: of course I realise what the...

I love how the Man handles the flamethrower. Not even Boss could use it one-handed. All the stuff we've gotten is amazing, but is there any chance there'd be even more to be unearthed? I'm just dying to see the concept art of characters like Lady Ranja, and get more details about the script...

Oh damn you're right, I believe that is the original source for it. I'm pretty sure that number was given way back when the game was released though so I doubt it was written by the same person who did those obituaries, and I know I've seen it repeated in at least a few gaming news sites too so...

Okay? I wasn't talking about the official site, I haven't been to that dump in a while. SR1 happened in 2006 according to the game's manual and SRIV.

I assume that they meant that SR2 takes place in 2011, which isn't incorrect since SR1 happened in 2006 and Boss was in a coma for 5 years.
