Yeah this is great, as someone trying to emulate the feel of sr1 inside sr2 myself, this is a must have.

Replacing audio files in the game is a task.. you have to use directx tools and for me it never actually compiled. My best suggestion would be to just use video editing to cut out the audio in the cutscene, and mix it so the talking is still loud.

This is exactly what I've been looking for. I loved how in SR1 they could get you at any time and arrest you, added a lot of risk to rag-dolling lol. The outfit change is probably in part to ultor but its also a nice addition.

Just be careful the more you add the more you're gonna have to add to the preload_anim.tbl which is almost maxed out, the patch will hopefully remove this limitation tho

You know it'd be super easy to do. Compile OpenSpy Source, configure accounts And then in the sr2 exe in a hex editor just change the gamespy mentions to your custom url. Hint hint

See but ive only noticed it gets used on an unpatched game (german version for example) and its really buggy also the kick is a different animation to what youre referring to

kinda ironic since this is like the first step in basically recreating sr1 for pc in sr2.. if u can play sr1 then do so xD
