You should go on your Steam client properties and Select the "Legacy" build (it's basically the Workshop version). Majority of the mods here are't ported at all and can't be really used for current Re-Elected version.

I only got this information for the Steam release, I don't know for the Epic Games Store version, I don't know if that game is present on the GOG game store.
